<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine where performance according to a conversational voice of a player is carried out by inputting the conversational voice reliably. <P>SOLUTION: A microphone and a speaker array are provided near a board surface, and a musical sound of the performance is generated from the speaker array. In occurrence of an event, microphone input is turned on. Then, when a voice generated by the player is inputted, the content of performance is changed. The speaker array is obtained by arranging a plurality of speaker units in the state of a matrix or in the state of a line, can output a plurality of voice beams and can control the outputting directions of the respective voice beams. In occurrence of the event, the voice beams are made to face a direction other than that of the microphone.
