PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal and a communication method that can confirm the security of sites providing Web data and prevent functions in the communication terminal from being started by commands from many unspecified sites. SOLUTION: An inquiry request part 104 inquires of a function control server 300 whether or not a URL to a Web server 200 providing Web data and a control code described in the Web data are registered in the function control server 300. A response code determination part 105 can determine that the control code described in the Web data is valid by recognizing that the control code and URL are registered in advance in the function control server 300.
