DRIVING TENDENCY ESTIMATION SYSTEM AND DRIVING SUPPORT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving tendency estimation system capable of accurately grasping a driver's tendency in braking operation and a driving support system capable of operating a driving support behavior tailored for the driver.

SOLUTION: The driving tendency estimation system includes a deceleration measuring device for measuring the deceleration of a vehicle and a braking operation tendency estimation device for estimating the driver's tendency in braking operation. The braking operation tendency estimation device estimates the tendency based on the relationship between a regression curve calculated based on results obtained from a plurality of drivers, which is also correlation data between a speed of the vehicle and a deceleration thereof made from the driver's braking operation, and a deceleration of the vehicle measured by the vehicle deceleration measuring device. The driving support system includes the driving tendency estimation system which allows the braking operation tendency estimation device to estimate the tendency in braking operation of the driver of the own vehicle and/or a leading vehicle, and operates the driving support behavior for the driver of the own vehicle according to an estimated result from the braking operation tendency estimation device.
