摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conveniently manufacturing a transflective color filter for a multiply-aligned-division type vertical alignment mode, and a multiple-alignment-division type vertical alignment mode liquid crystal display device with superior display quality. <P>SOLUTION: In a coloring layer forming step, a coloring layer with a plurality of colors, having through holes for light transmission, is formed with a predetermined pixel pattern on the surface of a transparent substrate, in a protrusion layer forming step; transparent protrusion layers are formed so as to cover respective through holes for light transmission of the coloring layer, in an electrode forming step; a common transparent electrode is formed so as to cover the coloring layer and the transparent protrusion layers; and in a spacer/protrusion forming step, a negative photosensitive resin composition is applied to the common transparent electrode, the negative photosensitive resin composition coating is exposed via a mask for forming the spacer/protrusion, and developed so as to form the spacers on the transparent protrusion layers, and the protrusions to control alignment directions of liquid crystal molecules to be in a plurality of directions are formed on the coloring layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
