PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge of a thin information recording medium of which the recording capacity is improved more than that of a conventional system, and a method for loading an information recording medium from the cartridge. SOLUTION: The cartridge has such constitution that the information recording medium and a partition member are superposed alternately and almost closely, and identification of a housing position of each information recording medium and loading operation can be performed by a tab formed in the partition member end part.
