PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device where a falling prevention mechanism of a disk medium is formed at low cost and noise caused by the falling prevention mechanism is reduced in the disk device which is sometimes used in a vertical attitude. SOLUTION: Cuts 123 for forming tongue parts 122 are formed, fitting parts 124 are formed at parts which contact with the tongue parts 122 when folding the tongue parts 122 back to the side of a mounting recess 121, and fitting receiving parts 125 to be fitted to the fitting parts 124 are formed at the tongue parts 122. Thus, by folding the tongue parts 122 to fit the fitting parts 124 and the fitting receiving parts 125, a disk engaging member being the falling prevention mechanism of the disk medium is formed.
