PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device capable of reducing the electric power needed to cool a belt. SOLUTION: The image heating device having an endless belt 30 which heats an image T on a recording material P at a nip part N, a heat roll (heating means) 10 of heating the belt 30, and a cooling means of cooling the recording material P which moves together with the belt 30 and has been heated before the recording material P is separated from the belt 30 has a thermoelectric element (power generating means) 200 of generating electric power by the temperature difference of the belt 30, and drives the cooling means with the electric power of the thermoelectric element 200.
