摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter capable of measuring a flow rate or a flow velocity of measuring fluid flowing in a pipe even in the case of a thin pipe or a thick pipe by mounting inclined parts of two measuring tubes respectively on the pipe in the state of sandwiching the pipe, wherein vibration is propagated in the form of a longitudinal wave because piezoelectric vibrators are arranged oppositely, and a transmitted/received wave is stable because of a simple structure, and an ultrasonic wave transmitted from/received by the piezoelectric vibrators is propagated effectively through a sound wave propagation medium filled in a hollow part of each measuring tube, to thereby enable accurate measurement of the flow velocity and the flow rate. SOLUTION: The measuring fluid is allowed to flow in the pipe 7, and a vibrator support part 10a orthogonal to a side wall 9a is formed on the first measuring tube 8a, and the piezoelectric vibrator 11a is mounted on the vibrator support part 10a. The inclined part 12a inclined with respect to the side wall 9a is formed so as to be mounted on the pipe 7, and the sound wave propagation medium 14a is filled in the hollow part 13a between the inclined part 12a and the vibrator support part 10a. The inclined part 12b of the second measuring tube 8b is mounted on the pipe 7 facing to the first measuring tube 8a, and the sound wave propagation medium 14b is filled in the hollow part 13b, and the vibrator support part 10b orthogonal to a side wall 9b is formed on the end of the hollow part 13b, and the piezoelectric vibrator 11b is mounted on the vibrator support part 10b.
