PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capping load/torque measuring device capable of measuring simultaneously the press load and the stopping plug-torque at the time of capping. SOLUTION: In the capping load/torque measuring device, a cylindrical drum 31 and a strain gauge 32 compose a torque transducer 30. A load transfer system from a load transfer rod 2 to a load cell 20 is housed concentrically in a pipe conduit of a cylindrical drums 31 through a cylinder guide 40 of high rigidity, moreover, the load transfer rod 2 and the cylinder guide 40 are composed so as to reduce sliding resistance, and finally a torque transfer rod 3 and the cylindrical drum 31 are composed so as to reduce sliding resistance and torque transfer loss.
