PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirrer capable of uniformly stirring the whole of a liquid sample in a short time and capable of suppressing the occurrence of a measuring error, and also to provide a stirring method and an analyzer equipped with the stirrer. SOLUTION: The stirrer 20 is equipped with a container 7 for holding a liquid and a sonic wave generating element 21 for irradiating the liquid L held in the container with a sonic wave from the outside of the container and constituted so as to stirr the liquid in a non-contact state. The sonic wave generating element 21 stirrs the liquid using the acoustic radiation pressure caused by converging the sonic wave into the liquid in the vicinity of an air-liquid interface and an acoustic flow and has a piezoelectric substrate 21a and the electrodes 21b and 21c provided on the piezoelectric substrate.
