PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve compression performance by reducing a gap between a tip seal and a seal groove. SOLUTION: The tip seal 7 including a bottom surface lip part 8 and an inner side lip part 9 is provided in a seal groove 5 of a lap part 3 of a fixed scroll 1. Also, a step 6 filling a gap between the bottom surface lip part 8 and the inner side lip part 9 is provided at an edge of the seal groove 5, and the step 6 prevents compressed air from leaking to an outer diameter side from an inner diameter side of the lap part 3 through the gap between the lip parts 8, 9. On the other hand, a step 15 filling a gap with the tip seal 16 is provided in the seal groove 14 in a turning scroll 10 side too. Consequently, the gaps in the seal grooves 5, 14 can be sealed by the steps 6, 15, the bottom surface lip parts 8, 17 and the inner side lip parts 9, 18 or the like, and compression performance can be improved at a time of compression operation.
