PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying roller manufacturing method for manufacturing a carrying roller with high precision in a simple process, a recording device, and a carrying roller. SOLUTION: In a printer for recording an image on a recording surface of a sheet, a first carrying roller 50 for carrying a sheet has a shape in which a large diameter part 53 and a shaft part 52 having the diameter smaller than that of the large diameter part 53 are continuous to each other in the axial direction. A columnar part and the shaft part are integrally formed by the injection molding using a molding material containing a hydraulic composition, and sliding parts 54, 55 are formed in a mirror surface during the injection molding.
