PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a corner part where a projecting part for absorbing overlapping margin does not exist, from being bent, and also to prevent a side board connecting hinge part from being damaged, even when a load is concentrated and applied on the corner part when the folding boxes are stacked on multi-stage. SOLUTION: A projecting part 8 for absorbing an overlapping margin is projected over the whole length in the up and down direction on an end part of one side board 1 between two side boards 1 on both sides of corner parts of a pair of diagonal parts on the folded part to an acute angle when the folding box is folded in an approximately parallelogram shape. A fitting-in part 13 is formed on a part in the up and down direction of the side end face part of one side board 1 between two side boards 1 on both sides of the corner parts of a pair of the diagonal parts on the folded part to an obtuse angle when it is folded into an approximately parallelogram shape, and a fitted-in part 14 is formed on a part in the up and down direction of the side end face part of the other side board 1. Under a condition that it is assembled into a box shape, the protruded fitting-in part 13 and the recessed fitted-in part 14 are fitted together to constitute a corner part of adjoining side boards 1.
