PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic neck-hanging and fitting device or the like capable of automatically hanging a neck hanger on a bottle neck when boxing a necked bottle in an exterior box with a neck hanger. SOLUTION: The neck-hanging and fitting device 20 is equipped with three major mechanisms of a neck hanger folding mechanism 31, a neck hanger guide mechanism 61, and a neck hanger press-in mechanism 81. When a neck hanger 2 is folded by a circular motion of a hook member 33 of the neck hanger folding mechanism 31, a neck opening 4a of a neck-hanging piece 4 of the neck hanger 2 is reliably fitted to a bottle neck 10a by a guide plate 63 of the neck hanger guide mechanism 61. The neck hanger 2 which is guided and fitted to the outer side of the bottle neck 10a is pressed into a root of the bottle neck 10a by a press-in member 83 of the neck hanger press-in mechanism 81.
