The hood (1) has a supply air system comprising a housing (9) and a supply air guide provided in the housing, where the air guide includes a supply air fan (24). The air guide has a distributor chamber (15) that is connected upstream of the fan for guiding supply air into the housing, where the distributor chamber is narrowed by a part of an external wall (22) of the housing and a part of an exhaust air system in the housing. The chamber is separated from a supply air chamber (16) by a separating wall (23) of the fan. An independent claim is also included for an extractor device comprising an extractor hood.
