A door lock device with a safety switch, capable of reliably locking a door. Closing operation of a rotation handle (22) rotates a connection member (5) about a rotation shaft (23) to engage an engagement section (51) to a fixation member (41), and this limits movement of a protective door into two directions of arrows X and Y including opening and closing directions of the door. Since movement of the protective door in the two directions, including the opening and closing directions of the protective door, is limited independent of whether the protective door is a slide type or a rotation type, the protective door can be reliably locked in a closed state. Further, even if the protective door is attempted to be opened by force in erroneous operation etc., force to open the door is not directly applied to a switch body (1) and an actuator (3), so that durability of the safety switch is increased.
