<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgery support system where apparatuses used during a surgery in a surgical room are managed from a place separated from the surgical room. <P>SOLUTION: In the surgical room, one or more surgery support apparatuses, a surgical room side operation part for operating the surgery support apparatuses, a surgical room side communication control part for communicating with a remote operation room, and a remote operation control part are arranged. In the remote operation room, a remote room side operation part of the surgery support apparatus and a remote room side communication control part for communicating with the surgical room are arranged. The remote operation control part is provided with a priority switch means for selectively giving priority to either of the surgical room side operation part and the remote room side operation part, transfers operation of an operation part selected by the priority switch means to the surgery support apparatus, and instructs the apparatus to act according to the operation.
