<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control device that reduces a load of a power supply and that is capable of quickening the start-up speed of electronic apparatus, including a digital camera. <P>SOLUTION: This power control device comprises: a current mode control circuit that controls an output voltage by detecting a current related to an output current; a first soft start circuit, that is connected to the current mode control circuit to control an output voltage start-up time until the output voltage reaches a predetermined value; a voltage mode control circuit that controls the output voltage, by detecting a voltage related to the output voltage; a second soft start circuit that is connected to the current mode control circuit to control the output voltage start-up time, until the output voltage reaches a predetermined value; and a control circuit that controls the current of the first soft start circuit and that of the second soft start circuit so as to make the output voltage start-up time of the current mode control circuit shorter than that of the voltage mode control circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
