<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate, within a short lock time, various kinds of audio clock signals for reproducing transported audio signals without expanding circuit scale in an audio processing apparatus for reproducing audio data transported via an interface. <P>SOLUTION: Frequency information of an audio signal is extracted from a packet called ASP in the HDMI standard by an audio information detector 110, and outputted to a frequency divider 120 as audio information. A frequency dividing ratio is determined based on the audio information by the frequency divider 120, and a PLL clock signal outputted from an analog PLL circuit 130 is frequency-divided in the frequency dividing ratio and outputted as a comparative clock signal. In the analog PLL circuit 130, feedback control is performed so that the comparative clock signal is synchronized with a reference clock signal, and an audio clock signal is generated by multiplying or frequency-dividing the reference clock signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
