PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and correctly predict a progress of a situation when an accident occurs in a nuclear installation. SOLUTION: A nuclear emergency computational system collects transmission data from each part of the nuclear installation. By using the collected transmission data and a specific computer model, non-detectable values not measured in the plant are estimated. With the transmission data and the non-detectable values, an initial setting of an analytical code is executed. Using the analytical code, a plant status is tracked in real time and simulation is done. When a divergence of the simulated values from the detected values becomes large, the setting of the non-detectable values and the like is corrected and the computation is proceeded. By using the set value during tracking, computation for predicting the progress of situation is initiated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
