PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method capable of measuring accurately, quickly and simply an endocrine substance such as cat insulin in a specimen originated in an animal such as a cat. SOLUTION: In order to measure the specimen originated in an animal such as a cat, the specimen is pre-treated by removing a self-antibody bonded to an endocrine substance existing in the specimen, to thereby measure the endocrine substance.
