PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat absorption efficiency in a circular exhaust heat boiler. SOLUTION: In the circular exhaust heat boiler, a ring-shape upper header 1 is provided at an upper part, a ring-shape lower header 2 is provided at a lower part and many water pipes for connecting the upper and lower headers are provided to form a plurality of ring-shapes between the upper part and the lower headers and a can body provided with adjacent water pipes as an inside water pipe row 11 and an outside water pipe row 12 is provided for the water pipes located inside and the water pipes located outside and a center space 8 is provided at a center part of the can body enclosed by the inside water pipe row 11. After introducing exhaust gas into the center space, heat recovery from the exhaust gas is conducted by making the exhaust gas flow in a gas passage 9 which is formed between the inside water pipe row 11 and the outside water pipe row 12. A heat transfer area is reduced by covering a surface open to the center space 8 of the inside water pipe row 11 by a heat insulation material 7 and a heat transfer area in the gas passage 9 is increased instead.
