PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly operate a movable member at the time of locking release by reducing friction resistance generated between a locking mechanism and the movable member. SOLUTION: A steel ball 26 is inserted into a taper ring 20 which has a taper face 34, so that a movable shaft 12 is locked by pressure-welding the steel ball 26 between the movable shaft 12 and the taper face 34. When the lock is released, the steel ball 26 is pushed out by the pusher 23 in the operational direction of the movable shaft 12.
