PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise at the time of separation of an adhesive material adhered on the upper face of an upper contact sheet when a surface sheet returns after depression of the surface sheet in a membrane switch. SOLUTION: The membrane switch has a spacer 4 laminated between an upper contact sheet 3 and a lower contact sheet 5, an electrode 10 installed opposed to the lower face of the upper contact sheet 3 and the upper face of the lower contact sheet 5, a surface sheet 1 arranged on the upper face of the upper contact sheet 3, and a space portion 11 formed for installing a click mechanism between the upper contact sheet 3 and the surface sheet 1. A concavo-convex portion by particulates is formed on one of the faces of the surface sheet 1 and the upper contact sheet 3 constituting the space portion 11, and by reducing the contact area, a noise occurring at the time of separation of an adhesive 8 when the surface sheet 1 returns after depression of the surface sheet can be reduced.
