PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of providing a conductive material high in transparency and conductivity and having good productivity, in a manufacturing method of a conductive material. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of a conductive material, a conductive material precursor having at least one layer of silver halide emulsion layer on a support body is exposed to light and thereafter at least a development process, a fixing process and a plating process are applied thereto in that order. This application uses the manufacturing method of a conductive material characterized in that, after the exposure and the development, the conductive material precursor is fixed with a fixing solution without containing thiosulfate or containing 0.05 mol/L of thiosulfate or the manufacturing method of a conductive material characterized in that the conductive material precursor having at least one layer of silver halide emulsion layer on a support body is exposed to light and thereafter at least a development process, a fixing process and a plating process are applied thereto in that order.
