PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear capable of surely engaging a small diameter gear and a tooth form part and preventing the damage of a two-stage gear and a member to be driven by making it possible to engage the small diameter gear of the two-stage gear and the tooth form part of the member to be driven while looking at them. SOLUTION: The reduction gear 20 is provided with an output gear 19 and the output gear 19 is provided with a large diameter gear 19A and the small diameter gear 19B. For the large diameter gear 19A, a rotary shaft 19d is the same for the small diameter gear 19B, it is integrally formed with the small diameter gear 19B and the small diameter gear 19B is rotated by the driving force of a motor 12 for elevating and lowering a head. The small diameter gear 19B is arranged so as to be engaged with a freely swingably arranged connection arm 11. The large diameter gear 19A has a notched part 19E of a range including the range wherein the small diameter gear 19B is engaged with the connection arm 11 for a plane orthogonal to the rotary shaft 19D.
