PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupler capable of preventing the release of engagement and the connection of the coupler by mischief. SOLUTION: In the coupler 20 provided with a first coupler body 21 and a second coupler body 22 constituted capable of electrical connection to and separation from the first coupler body 21, the coupler constituted such that the first coupler body 21 has an engagement hole (engaged part) 21e, the second coupler body 22 has an engagement piece (engaging part) 22f engaged with the engagement hole 21e when the first and the second coupler bodies 21, 22 are connected, the engagement piece 22f is constituted to be movable between an engagement position A engaged with the engagement hole 21e and a separation position B to release the engagement, and a stopper member 23 to retain the engagement piece 22f in an engagement state by inhibiting the movement of the engagement piece 22f to the separation position B is equipped.
