PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller and blower fan equipped with it, wherein air is easy to take in at an inner circumference side of blade portion, air suction efficiency is improved by smoothly sending out sucked air in the centrifugal direction, fan noise is suppressed by allowing air from separating at the tip of a blade portion and high air volume and static pressure can be obtained at a same fan noise level compared with a conventional blower fan. SOLUTION: An impeller 1 of a centrifugal type blower fan is equipped with a cylindrical boss portion 2 and a plurality of blades 3 extending nearly radially from an outer circumference face of the boss portion 2. The blade 3 comprises a forward wing section 4, which extends from the outer circumference face of the boss portion 2, is curved in a concave as viewed from a rotating direction forward of the impeller 1, and has an inlet angle in the rotating direction, and a backward wing section 5 which extends from an outer circumference side end of the forward wing section 4, and is curved in a convex as viewed from the rotating direction forward of the impeller 1.
