PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a spark-ignition direct injection internal combustion engine, capable of making the exhaust performance improvement be compatible with torque improvement. SOLUTION: The controller of the spark-ignition direct injection internal combustion engine is provided with a supercharger 38, a valve overlap amount control means capable of controlling the overlap amount of a suction valve 28 and an exhaust valve 42, and the fuel injection valve 20 to directly inject the fuel into a combustion chamber 18. The controller is provided with a fresh air blow-by amount estimating means for estimating the fresh air blow-by amount blowing by to the exhaust system without contributing to combustion, and a fuel injection control means for controlling the fuel injection from the fuel injection valve corresponding to the fresh air blow-by amount estimated by the fresh air blow-by amount estimating means.
