PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket for a power shovel capable of efficiently and safely corresponding to a series of working statuses in the construction work of an architecture, civil engineering and the segregation of waste without carrying out the replacement work of the bucket. SOLUTION: The bucket for the power shovel put on the front end of an arm of the power shovel is constituted of a bucket body having an opening, a bracket continuously arranged to the bucket body and pivoted on the arm, a middle gear stored in the bracket and rotatable in the bucket body and a hydraulic mechanism for allowing the middle gear to rotate.
