PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at a low cost a packaging material used for a conical packaging body that prevents a sealed part composing the conical front end of the conical packaging body from peeling and prevents moisture absorption by a food, a leaking of the food, the deterioration of the appearance, etc from occurring. SOLUTION: An approximately fan-shaped blank board is formed out of the packaging material made of a lamination at least including a paper layer and an innermost polyolefin resin layer. The blank board is rolled into a reverse conical shape, where one side edge is superposed on the other side edge to join both edges together to form a side edge joint. Then, contents are put into the rolled blank, after which the top edge of the blank is sealed by heat seal joining. An adhesive reinforcement treatment is made on the face of the polyolefin resin layer that is equivalent to the side edge joint and includes the vicinity of the top of the fan-shaped blank board.
