PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulically formed member the parts of which have excellent strength, whose weight and cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: This member is a hydraulically formed member 10 which is formed by making a preformed body deform by bulging by imparting fluid pressure to the inner part of the preformed body which has the first and second outer surface materials having an edge part which is superposed and joined and which has the outer surface part having the first and second outer surface 20, 50 formed from the first and second outer surface materials and the first and second reinforcing ribs 30, 40 which are formed from the first and second reinforcing materials and with which the hollow cross section of the outer surface part is partitioned.
