<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road parameter detecting device, capable of detecting the road parameters of a plurality of lanes simultaneously taking into consideration the degree of reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The road parameter detecting device 1 includes a camera 10; a parameter candidate acquiring part 21 for obtaining the stochastic distribution of the road parameters having multi-peaked property, based on image data imaged by the camera 10; a parameter value calculating part 30 for obtaining road parameter values, by calculating the expectation value of the stochastic distribution of the road parameters; a reliability degree determining part 31 for obtaining the reliability degree of the road parameter values, by calculating the distribution value of the stochastic distribution of the road parameters; and an output part 40 for changing information concerning the road parameter values, in response to the reliability degree and outputting the information to an external display, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
