<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize papaya seeds conventionally frequently discarded as a health food utilizing their sleep-improving function. <P>SOLUTION: The health food comprises seeds alone of papaya or seed and unripe fruit of papaya as main raw materials and contains one or more materials selected from heated and dried powder, freeze-dried powder, water or hot water extracts, extracts of millet brandy and an ethanol extracts of the raw material.
