<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a light guide plate that can easily increase the dimensions of a light emitting surface of a light guide plate which has a light guide pattern to emit the light input from the light source. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, the dot pattern is transferred to the transparent film 21 used as the material of the light guide plate 1 by facing the film with metal molds 71, 72 (71m, 72m) having the dot pattern irregularities formed by a X-ray lithography electroforming method to constitute the light guide pattern 15 and pressing and moving rotatable rollers 61, 62 on them. The dot pattern transfer using the metal molds 71, 72, 71m, 72m is repeated several times making transferred patterns adjoining one another each time in the feed direction (X axial direction) of the transparent film 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
