<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rice ball packaging apparatus capable of packaging a triangular rice ball having roundness close to that of a handcrafted one. <P>SOLUTION: The rice ball packaging apparatus has a structure of forming a plurality of packaging female molds on a turning panel, locating a rice ball covered with a packaging film on the packaging molds, lowering a press-in stamp from an upper side of the female mold, and accommodating the rice ball into the packaging female mold. A rice ball receiving member having a recessed arc-shaped receiving part is provided on a back side of the turning panel, and the recessed arc-shaped receiving part faces inside the packaging female mold so that the recessed arc-shaped receiving part is located opposite to a lower edge of the rice ball accommodated in the packaging female mold. The rice ball receiving member is slidable with respect to the turning panel, and provided with a driving means of the receiving member in the sliding direction. When handling the rice ball, the rice ball receiving member is allowed to slide by the driving means to release the facing state of the recessed arc-shaped receiving part into the packaging female mold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
