<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device apparatus allowing driver software of the device apparatus to be easily installed without any error in an information processor without requiring large-scale equipment even when the device apparatus is used in environment where it is connected to the information processor such as a personal computer through a network, and capable of setting a network address or the like, or easily and correctly setting a transfer destination of image data read by a scanner means. <P>SOLUTION: The device apparatus comprises a connecting means 14 for connecting an external storage device 4; a storage means 13 for storing the driver software, an automatic installation program for installing the driver software in the information processor, and device unique information; and a data writing means 12 for writing the driver software, automatic installation program and device unique information stored in the storage means 13, into the external storage device 4 connected to the connecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
