<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document display device capable of compactly displaying a document so that a user can easily access intended information by providing a system capable of displaying only information necessary for the user in detail without displaying unnecessary information. <P>SOLUTION: This document display device converts a structured document obtained by structuring an electronic document or document image based on the structural meaning of the document to a hierarchical structure while maintaining dependency of the structural meaning of the document, and displaying the structured document converted to the hierarchical structure so that the user can freely develop or omit layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
