PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening tool equipped with an auto-stop function to stop a motor automatically when the preset stopping conditions are met, capable of reducing the labor and time for deciding the stopping conditions of the motor. SOLUTION: The fastening tool includes the motor 30 which is put in rotation with actuation of a trigger switch (S30). When the motor is rotated to make fastening of a screw etc. and a collision of a hammer with an anvil is sensed (Yes at S32), a timer T<SB>set</SB>for measuring the drive time is started (S36).
