PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front bodywork of a vehicle in which a vertical load such as a road surface input etc. is applied directly to front side members, capable of enhancing the twisting stiffness. SOLUTION: The front bodywork of the vehicle is configured so that the top 28A of a shock absorber 28 is supported by each front side member 12 and the tail of the front side member 12 is coupled with a toe board 22 through a brace 30. Accordingly the road surface input fed directly from the shock absorber 28 to the front side member 12 is transmitted to the body floor 24 through the brace 30 and dispersed.
