PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method enabling an improvement of the nature of the impregnation of a wooden material with a resin material with the use of little or no organic solvent, and enabling a reinforcement of the wooden material at a low cost. SOLUTION: A reinforcing method for a wooden material comprises the steps of carrying out a corona discharge treatment to the wooden material, and of impregnating the wooden material having been subjected to the corona discharge treatment with the resin material, to thereby effect curing.
