Provided are a host material, which embodies organic light emitting diodes having high brightness and high efficiency, and an organic light emitting material, which has high brightness and high efficiency by using the same material as a light emitting layer. The host material has a structure represented by the following formula 1, wherein each of A and B is independently selected from substituted or unsubstituted aromatic groups, heterocyclic groups, and aliphatic groups. Each of substituted or unsubstituted A and B is selected from phenyl, biphenyl, pyridyl, naphthyl, quinolinyl, isoquinolinyl, fluorenyl, terphenyl, methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, halogen, phenanthrolinyl, quinoxalinyl, terpyridinyl, and substituents thereof.
