A leaning test apparatus of a vehicle and a method for controlling the same are provided to determine the leaning of the vehicle according to parameters on the leaning forces by performing the leaning test of the vehicle through a real traveling of the vehicle. A leaning test apparatus of a vehicle includes drive rolls(3), drive motors(5), encoders(9), load cells(11), and a controller. The controller receives a rotational speed signal of the drive motor from the encoder and controls the number of rotations and the rotational direction of the drive motor. The controller receives a load signal by leaning of the drive roll from the load cell and determines the leaning force operation direction of a tire through comparison and calculation. The controller determines the tire exchange position and outputs a signal on a display unit.
