A display device and a driving circuit thereof are provided to extend the lifetime of the display device by adjusting only a gate-on voltage while maintaining a driving voltage at a constant value. A driving circuit for a display device includes a driving voltage generator(700), a controller(710), and a gate signal generator(750). The display device includes plural pixels, each of which includes switching elements. The driving voltage generator generates a first voltage. The controller receives the first voltage and generates a second voltage according to a peripheral temperature. The gate signal generator generates a third voltage based on the second voltage. The controller generates the second voltage, which is higher than the first voltage, when the peripheral temperature is lower than a predetermined value. When the peripheral temperature is higher than the predetermined value, the controller generates the second voltage, which is lower than the first voltage.
