<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient rush current limiting circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A boost converter includes an input rectification bridge composed so as to rectify an input AC voltage, a first inductor connected to the input rectification bridge, an output capacitor used for the connection to a DC bus and coupled to the first inductor, a first two-way semiconductor switch coupled between the output capacitor and the first inductor, a second inductor that has a first end part connected to a common grounding and is arranged adjacently to the first inductor, and a second two-way semiconductor switch arranged between the second inductor and the output capacitor. It is possible to provide a rush controller for controlling the first/second two-way semiconductor switches in order to prevent a current rush. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
