PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derailleur controlling device not protruding a cable, and having a high reliability and a long service life. SOLUTION: This control device 1 for driving the control cable 12 of the derailleur of a bicycle is equipped with a supporting body 3 which can be connected with a handle bar 2 of the bicycle with one side surface 4, a cable winding bushing 15 by which the control cable 12 of the derailleur is wound/paid out, and a lever 8 for driving the cable winding bushing 15 to the rotation in a first rotating direction.
