PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct type tire pressure monitoring system attempted to reduce cost and to simplify assembly by removing a receiving antenna corresponding to a tire pressure sensor one by one by effectively using a wheel speed sensor used in ABS. SOLUTION: The wheel speed sensor 6a for the ABC detects rotating speed of a wheel 1a by a change of magnetic flux following rotation of a magnetic encoder 2a and transmits a signal of this rotating speed to an ABS control unit 7. Consequently, the ABS control unit 7 realizes an ABS function to make a slip ratio of each of the wheels constant. Additionally, the wireless receiving antenna built in the wheel speed sensor 6a (not shown in Fig.) receives a detection signal (tire pneumatic pressure signal) of a tire pressure detection sensor 3a wireless and transmits this tire pressure signal to the tire pressure monitoring unit 8.
