PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To markedly improve the continuous manufacturing properties and surface quality of a cellulose acylate film manufactured by a melt film forming method. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the cellulose acylate film using the melt film forming method for melting a cellulose acylate resin by an extruder 22 and subsequently discharging the molten cellulose acylate resin to the surface of a rotary drum 28 in a sheetlike form from a die 26 to cool and solidify the same, the cellulose acylate resin is dried by a dryer 16 until its moisture content becomes 3,000 ppm or below and the dried cellulose acylate resin is melted at a temperature of 180-250°C in the extruder 22 and discharged to the surface of the rotary drum 28 with a temperature of Tg-50 to Tg+10°C, wherein Tg is the glass transition temperature of the resin, to be cooled and solidified.
