ALTERNATIVE TOOL PROPOSING DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to correctly analyze motion of a desired tool and propose an appropriate alternative tool which can offer the motion. SOLUTION: Therblig concerning an alternative requesting tool to be substituted among tools used in an arbitrary work is retrieved from work therblig line expression information of a storage section 14 which describes an arbitrary work using a first therblig system which shows motions of people and a second therblig system which shows motions of a tool by a therblig retrieval means 15B of an arithmetic operation section 15. The tool name including this retrieved therblig is retrieved by a tool retrieval means 15C of the arithmetic operation section 15 from a tool function database of the storage section 14 which expresses the tool name and the motion of the tool in demonstrating the function by therblig lines of the second therblig system.
