PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise suppressing method and structure for an underpass road capable of increasing noise suppressing effect. SOLUTION: In these noise suppressing method and structure for the underpass road 10 crossing the other road 18 and passed under the other road 18. side walls 12 and 13 are formed on both sides of the underpass road 10, recessed parts 20 are formed in the underpass road 10 side side-faces of the side walls 12 and 13, and sound absorbing members 15 are installed on the underpass road 10 side side-faces of the side walls 12 and 13 so as to cover the recessed parts 20.
